A team of Leeds and Birmingham scientists presented ‘Lucie’, a mobile long-lived robot that learns and adapts within her environment to then monitor real-world infrastructure. Other Leeds projects demonstrated a pipe inspection robot that is powered wirelessly and drones to scan and repair potholes using 3D printing.
